Today, that same process is seeking new forms of expression to reaffirm glass as the ultimate material for artistic productions. This quest brought AQUAZZURA CASA, a Florence-based luxury brand, to approach creative agency WE RAD. The goal is to design and carry out a marketing campaign for a collection of crystal glasses made by Murano artisans.
WE RAD is once again working with the same material, this time with new forms of expression.
Flutes, tumblers and cups, all coming in very different shapes, which is a key element for WE RAD. The type of glass used is important but so are the peculiarities of each processing technique chosen for the reliefs: grooved, striped, vortex-shaped or crossed surfaces.
The uniqueness of handmade products, combined with the refraction of light, creates visual continuity between the glass flute and the world of goldsmith art. This is precisely what inspired WE RAD to design the “Still Life” moodboard for the AQUAZZURA CASA campaign. The symmetrical multiplication and reflection of the elements, which have coordinated styles and nuances, allows WE RAD to experiment with the concept of composite.
