TEDxEmpoli - How to measure the success of an event

With the adrenaline still pumping, it is time to take stock. After the sprint of the last few months to best organise the presentation of BRANDO and the pride of having participated in the first TEDxEmpoli, we ask ourselves with a clearer mind how to evaluate what has happened in the last few days. Certainly last Saturday the excitement of being so many and all together was great, you could breathe in the energy and desire to share experiences and lessons learned from life.

However, it is always difficult to measure the success of an event and the impact it may have had in analytical terms. Leaving aside ticket sales - the event sold out - how can one tell whether an event was a success or not?

Well, there are indices that characterise success even if they cannot be quantified on a precise scale. But if there are, we can be sure that it was a complete triumph!

We saw dozens of people leave TEDxEmpoli with a smile and a more aware look on their faces, and we saw even more at the BRANDO stand, intrigued by the set-up designed by the WE RAD communication agency. Many received our welcome with ego-cancelling pills! An ironic and welcome gift that brought many people closer to BRANDO's philosophy.

There is no doubt that working together on a specific project brings people closer together. This also stays with us - the pleasure of working side by side towards the common goal: to be well prepared for BRANDO's first public presentation.

In the days following TEDxEmpoli, we literally saw a flurry of likes on our social profiles! And we were pleasantly surprised to see contact requests coming in to get to know us better and learn more about BRANDO. More than we had estimated in our best expectations!

If an event is successful, people are talking about it! And everyone is really talking about it, from newspapers to social profiles of influencers. From insiders to people having breakfast at the bar. Certainly TEDxEmpoli has left a more than positive impact on people's minds.

As far as our BRANDO is concerned, people liked it, were intrigued, wanted to understand in detail how it works, and complimented us on the innovation applied to the field of 'senzego' communication between Agency and Client.
