The Project

"La Biennale dello Scarto"

Art is a powerful medium for talking to people about ecology and the environment. “La Biennale dello Scarto” was born in Venice in 2018 with this intention, by the artist Rodolfo Lacquaniti.

On May 14 2022, the second edition dedicated to the theme “L’energia circolare, gli scarti e gli scartati” was inaugurated. So in the Giardino Viaggio di Ritorno in the Contemporary and Environmental Art Park of Castiglione della Pescaia, discarded materials and waste pieces come back to life in the form of Art through installations that address the society and invite it to reflect on environmental issues.

All works in one map

For “La Biennale dello Scarto” website we created an interactive map to guide the user to discover the works between the municipalities of Grosseto and Castiglione della Pescaia.

Through an intuitive interface, the user is able to find the works and upload all information and updates in real time.

Site-specific works are linked via a QRCode to the dedicated page.

The project

Our first commitment as a B Corp

WE RAD has become partner of “La Biennale dello Scarto” because we fully share the same mission: “to make the difference.”

Today, to make a difference in communication you need to have the focus on how you do things not so much on what you do; the value asset.

As a reminder of all the times communication served as a Manifesto, we chose a visual treatment peculiar to the avant-garde.

Communication was born to be in favor of urgencies, and today more than anything else the urgency is both social and cultural.

We put the same professionalism in favor of this urgency that we put into an advertising campaign of more commercially fruitful sectors because today, as well as Art, communication must also do something and in this, WE RAD is in the forefront.

Let’s make the difference!
